200E CYLINDER ON 200X ENGINE, YA OR NAY?
as far as i know, the 200e and s cylinders were the same but as u said the cooling fins were smaller. the fins were smaler due to the fact that the e and s cylinders didn't rev as fast, so they didn't create as much heat. the e cylinder should work, as long as u don't ride real hard for reall long distances in a low gear. the 200s bottem end is the same as a 200x but the top ends were different. the 200x had a different cylinder head. the x had a freer flowing head. the e was almost identical to the s i believe, except it had electric start if i remember correctly. oh, what do you mean the 200x cylinder is toasted? is it cracked, warped, broken in half, or scored badly? as long as it isn't waqrped, i don't see y u can't bore it out and reuse it. hope this helps and good luck. reply and let me know if ya have any problems, cause i am not claiming to be an expert, but i do know quite a bit about atcs. once again, good luck.
