sounds like the clutch needs to be replaced. also if you run out of adjustment on the top, there still should be adjustment on either the cable or where the cable attaches to the engine case.

Default 350x clutch slipping

I just bought a 350x this last week and it's having the same issue. I've talked to some people about it, and they say it could be a characteristic of the 350x. I doubt it though. I'm looking into replacing the clutch altogether. The bike is a 85, so the clutch has almost 20yrs of use on it.

I've got some bad news, I talked to another guy here at work who owns a 350x. He said the issue I was describing was exactly how his clutch was before it had to be replaced. You have to figure it's done it's job, if it hasn't been serviced since 85.

I ordered new friction plates and a new gasket, I'm going to attempt to fix the clutch myself. The parts all together cost about $75.

my 350x does the same but it only does it sometimes when i run it cold, its wierd ill replace it when it gets worse, but for now it doesnt do it much, i had a 1976 honda 350 enduro and did the same.

Tom Kat, It's weird, I rode the bike again last night and I put more oil in it, ran it a little longer, it could just be psychological but I swear the clutch works better now. It still feels like a 20yr old clutch but it worked about 50% better then the last time.
