How much more power does the 200x motor have compared to the 200S ? How much difference does the clutch make for you?
Sure wish my "S" had a clutch (kickstart or electric too while you're at it)

There seems to be a lot of Honda 200cc motors out there.
Anyone done any interesting swaps out there?

 

I beleive the cam is a bit different, the carb is bigger and the compression is higher on the 200X.

 

.. Not only that but the 'X' has four valves, whereas the 'S' has 2

I dont know how much difference of power you get from a clutch compared to an auto-clutch but my trike can it 55mph no problem, not ot fat but for a little 4 stroke 200 it nice. I heard they do like 60ish so i'm not to far behind. I'm gonna get some pics of my trike tomarrow. I also gotta get it fix, it's an easy fix.

 

Don;t listen to that idiot that says a 200x has four valves becuase it only has to he must be smokin somthing nasty

 

hmm-- well, beg your pardon, it's only been 20 years since the thing came out

 

I think the 86 200x had a 4 valve top end.
