I've been running 110 octane leaded racing fuel, due to my setup, per Duncan Racing. Now I'm changing my setup. Was running a 40 mm flat slide Mikuni with a twist throttle and going to a 38 mm Keihin Air Styker with a thumb throttle. Motor has a 330 big bore kit. The engine is ported and polished. Can I use unleaded pump gas 91 octane with trick additive or will it mess up my engine because it has already been running leaded 110?

Also, what reeds would work best with my new setup? Just pulled mine out they are thrashed!!! Broken ends and kind of fried.

Compression and timing will determine your octane, the carb you use doesnt make a difference. Additives are worthless, if you need high octane then run it.

Go to an auto store or a sears type store and pick up a compression tester.
