as far as getting the nut off a sufficient supply of air behind a healthy impact will do. we used a 750lbs of tq impact and a good size compressor.
the bolt might need some encouragement from being removed through the frame. a 2X4 or 4X4 and a hammer will do. place the wood up against the end of the bolt (with the nut removed of course) and apply force.

When I restored my 83 200X I had to screw the nut back onto the threads so the bolt end was just inside the 'outer end' of the nut and hit it with a BFH HARD. That broke it loose with out damaging the threads, then I used a really long punch to drive the bolt the rest of the way through the frame and swingarm.

I tried to grab the other side with a set of vise grips, but I cannot get enough grip on it to even try to turn it. I haven't had time to beat on it using a 4 x 4 and a BFH, but going to maybe get to it this weekend.
I appreciate everyones help on this - the project would be in pretty good shape if it wasn't for this one bolt!!
