hello, i saw one that was in mint condition at a local shop for 1000. i am not going to get it since i found a honda but i just wanted to know haw fast this is. as far as i know, it is stock from looking at the exhaust.

 

it was decent the kawi tecate-3 & 250R were faster & better handeling.

 

as i recall the tri z was faster than the 250R but slower than the tecate. and i the tri z i drove had just as good as handling as the 250r

 

The problems I've had with my Tri-Z's have never been performance related. A 250R is not going to take your lunch money, except for the fact that the 250R owner has access to parts that a Tri-Z owner can only dream about, whether aftermarket or OEM. I found it somewhat difficult to get parts for my Tri-Z's while finding parts for Honda ATC's is relatively easy. It's as easy as logging on to Ebay or driving to the local Honda dealer. You won't be disappointed by the speed and handling of a Tri-Z, but you'll be bummed out by the availability of parts.

 

i have riden both back in the day many many times. the 250R is by far faster & a better all around trike.
