DOES ANYBODY HERE KNOW OF SOME LINKS FOR THESE BIKES.I NEED SOME ENGINE DIAGRAMS

second.....What diagrams do you need/ what are you fixing?

 

sorry didnt realize they were on,im looking for info on timing,carbs,and general troubleshooting

 

its a 1983 honda 185

 

whats it doing....? or not doing?

 

ive got a 185s shop manual i could dig up if you want me too...

 

it wont start,im almosteure ive got the timing right,it will try to start as long as it is choked and shut the choke off and it dosent kick.i thought it was the carb but the same carb runs on another honda 185.if i could find a good honda link to show me a diagram of the timing specs,with the cam position.id know if im right.

 

the diagrams you need are all in the repair book, the reason I asked what you needed is because I can give you links to other web sites that have exploded views of your trike; if you just need to know where some certain part goes.
OK.....your timing on the 185......you should turn the crank to the "T" mark. and the dot on the cam gear should be set to the "V" cut in the valve cover (aprox 12o'clock)....then turn the crank to the "F" mark and set your rotor.
