help 200m

Default help 200m

i just bought a 200m it wont idle sounds like carb floods same at half throtle it will stall but at high rpm it runs good for a while just wondering if the fuel srew needs to be adjusted or somthing else

i had same problem, make sure the needle that goes into the carb is on the 3 clip and try moving the needle jet on the carb if you want to go what the manual says it says that needle should be turned out 2 1/4 out from closed fully. also try the idle screw. i have a 200m to but it smokes awfully bad, post some pictures of your 200m would love to see it!

anyone know the true spark plug number dont know if i have right one

the right plug is DR8ES-L

thanks lawnboymelvin i tried the spark plugs you said and it ran good but when revving it my thumb throttle came apart lol

i just got the thumb throttle fixed on thursday and fouled both plugs by saturday does anyone have pictures out of a manual for adjusting the carb they could email me my email is johndeere1650@hotmail.com i dont understand what this clip is on the needle

On the top of carb there is something you can screw off. Take that off and then there is a needle sticking out of the botom of it. Take the throttle cable out then you will just have the peice with the needle sticking out. There is a clip in the bottom of it that you need to take out with a pear of pliers. Then pull the needle out and there is a little clip on it with 5 spots to put it. Putting the clip higher on the needle with lean out your feul mixture. Putting it lower will richen it up.

thanks for explaining it in detail i checked it and it was on the top setting but its still running rich any other adjustments on the carb or is the jetting totaly wacked out

sounds like your needle seat is messed up lettin too much fuel in.
