Wouldnt gas eat away at JB weld and disolve it after a while, I have a problem with a tank too but I though the gas would eat it up and disolve the JB.

 

I have seen JB not fix a gas tank. I don't know if it hadn't set long enough, or if there was something else wrong. I will not try it, again, I know that much.

 

JB weld works good if you mix it well to a good grey and let it harden b4 you put gas in it.. i had a holl about the size of a dime and it seeled that .. its worked for 3 years now..

 

i used jb weld 2 fix a gas tank on my moped....and it still holdin strong.......but im not sure any gas was directly hitting it cuz it was like holdin a adapter for ahose in the hole were the petcock goes
