Just picked up a Honda 1983 200, runs like a gem but scorched the right calf of my 17 year old boy. Checked the oil a bit dirty but full. Do these bad RED Boy trikes run Hot by nature.

Any thoughts?

My 84 200M has never done that to my calf. Did the exhaust pipe inflict the injury and is so is the heat guard in place?

Welcome to the forums, definately check for the header pipe heat sheild. If that is not it I've seen a Raptor 660 get glowing red hot. I was told it was because the valves weren't adjusted correctly.
