Default 200x needs to beat a 400ex

i have a 200x and a 350x and i want my 1985 200x to be able to beat a 400ex bad alot of my friends have 400ex and they dog on me for having a three wheeler but i aint giving up three wheeling im need to find out how to get my 200x extremly fast would like to go cheap but its not that big of a deal if possible could somone tell me what i should put in it prices and what is most important and what will hel me alot i just got a dg ehaust but dont know what to get next i need help soon

You'll need more than just aftermarket add-ons.I dont think there will be a cheap way of doing it.Probably big bore kit(if available),bigger cam,port job and alcohol.These are just suggestions.I dont really know exactly what it would take.

i just need to beat it and keepit it around 1000 dollars you think thats possible and if you could help me with some websites for parts for this thing that would also be helpfull

A stroker kit is more safe than a bore I've heard. Idk though. You can also jet it, put in a K&N air filter, a bit larger tires, and what QWODER said above.

More power to you if you can work it out, but you aren't going to get a fire breather that will beat a 400 for under 1k. Doesn't the 350X fit that bill already? I would think that would be a much better platform to build up anyway.

recent mods i did my self i put a dg rcm ehaust and changed the gears and threw a k and n air filter and i put a spare 350x front end on it with the 200x front rim and kept the 350x bracke setup looks amazing and by next couple of weeks a local shop around me is putting a cam in port polishing and a 12:1 compresssion piston and boreing my carb I should be getting close does anyone have these mods on a 85 200x if so is it fast any other mods does anyone also know if a1985 350x rear end will fit on a 1985 200x

i just like the 200x image bc everyone around where i live want to burn my three wheelers they hate them and the fact that my 200x can beat there 400ex and there warriors and all the other bikes would make my day [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

the 350x rear end will fit but u have to customise the swingarm other than that i dont think theres any problem.. and i have a 200x too.. lot of ****.. a good sproket setup can help u good but a good one.. i tried all different 13 front 37behond 14frond 37 behind etc et c.. leded with 15-36 and i smoke 400's.. lol barnett clutch helps a lot.andin rebuilt process right now parts arriving in 4 days.. lol so ill let u know lol.. Keep investing till the crank comes out. lol thats what i did before my 1rst engine blew. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] l8er

so your saying i have good hope on beating the 400s with a few more mods and what customizing will need to be done to make that fit flush
