What will it do if you try shifting through gears
I ask because I have an 86 200X but no 2nd gear
Was told probably shift drum in trans
I also spoke with a guy at local ATV shop He suggested to confirm shift drum tip bike to side but cannot remember which side
I maimly heard Dis assemble(Split) Case to fix
But the 86 200X is worth fixing
I will be fixing mine

I FIGURED IT OUT. MY DAD PICKED IT UP FOR ME, AND I WAS GOING ON INFO FROM THE SELLER. TURNS OUT ITS A MANUAL, I WAS THINKING IT WAS AN AUTO AND THATS WHY THEY COULDNT FIGURE IT OUT. WELL GOT TO THINKING ABOUT IT ONE NIGHT, AND HAD MY DAD GO CHECK IF IT WAS A MANUAL OR AUTO, AND WHALAH, ITS THE CLUTCH, HA, HA. BOUGHT IT FOR 100 BUCKS GONNA NEED 50 BUCKS IN PARTS, AND ITS IN GREAT SHAPE.
