350x hard to start
#4
Do you still have the stock jetting? They are pretty lean stock. I went up one size on the pilot jet (48 I think) and it starts so much easier. One click on the choke when cold. I went one up on the main jet too (160 I think) even with the stock pipe, you'll be surprised how much better it runs, especially in cold weather.
All assuming your compression and spark are good and valves are adjusted and decompression working properly.

Is the motor stock as far as you know? Pipe? Air filter? You need to take the carb off and clean it/blow out the jets and passages. See how it is jetted. Check the mixture screw, stock setting is 1 3/4 turns out from seated. Once you know the carb is clean and set, filter is clean, put a new plug in.
To kick it.... Push the kick starter slowly all the way down first, bring it back up 3/4 of the way, then kick it hard as you give the throttle a little push.
