new carb white smoke?

Default new carb white smoke?

just put a new motor on my honda 110 and a new aftermarket carb. cranked fine but had lots of white smoke then died and will not crank .i checked my spark and i have and orange spark now can anyone tell what the hey is wrong?

what do you mean new motor , newly rebuilt or new used, either way has the motor set for a while , you may have rolled it around and oil leaked into the cylinder , if your lucky, but if it won't crank over you may have broke your rings , bound up in the jug , ect . pull the plug and change it look into the plug hole , check the oil for metal

the reason i ask about the motor , there are alot of people that think new ring's is rebuilt, when in fact the jug needed bored , new ring in a worn cylinder would act exactly the same, smoke , run who know's how long , seize up. also a bad head gasket will cause smoke. but it should turn over. seem's like you'r project is just getting started. good luck
