I HAVE RIDDEN A TIGER 500 AND 250,, they are vintage race built 3 wheelers from the early 80's ,, because they didn't have huge budgets they built horsepower that made up for the lack of suspension,,, my 500 is way faster than a tiger 500,, one because its a watercooled motor and two the 86 atc 250r had way better suspension,,,

 

yes, from what I understand the power delivery is much like a Yamaha IT490, losts of low end and a smooth delivery. However it does hold the honor of an 81 MPH top speed which is faster than any modern stock ATV can go (stupid conumer product safety board). They are lightweight, basic and beautiful. I thought it would be kind of cool to build an air cooled big bore that is that basic for just some desert fun.
