Yea I was wondering if you could help me my cousin has a 85 200x and it runs good at idle until you romp on it,it just spits and spuders and then it dies so could you help me HONDA ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First off take the gas line off to make sure it is getting plenty of fuel. If so, remove carb and take float bowl off, clean bowl out, remove the jets and take a wire to make sure all the holes are clean. Take compressed air and blow all the holes in the carb to make sure they are clean. That should take care of your problem.

Oh! put it back together so then you will know if that fixes it.

yeah, it will run alot better if you put the carb back together before you reinstall in on the motor.

Seriously, that sounds like exactly what's wrong. I've had to trikes that did the same thing and they just needed a carb freshening.

atc 200x problems

I have a 1983 200x which I have put a 1983 honda 185s motor in. I have bored the cylender .80 over withy a weisco high compression piston in it, it has all neww valves, rockers cam chain and a brand new high performance cam which i order from web cam. It has been ported and polished and a cobra aluminum race series exhaust on it. I put the stock 200x carb on this motor becuase it would not run with the stcok 185s carb on but it wants more fuel . The stock jet in the 200x carb is a 110 and it still wants more fuel but when I put a 115 in it it runs great in 1,2,3, 4, but in 5th gear it bogs down like the choke is on
HELP ME PLEASE
