I don't know of anyone else that makes the vented fender for the R. I do know that the maier plastic I got for my 85 R is bright, smooth and shiny. Very much unlike their stuff from past years. You should give them a call and see if they have the "new shiny" plastic for your machine or if it's the old crappy stuff.
