ok i got a '84 Teacate 3 and it needs a mangeto.and i cant found 1.and i need to know how much they are.thanks

 

MAYBE one from an kx motor that is of the same year will work. I would check e-bay or a atv salvage yard

 

From what I remember from my old 85 Tecate..most of the kx parts would not work... I needed a new jug...the intake ports had bent into the cylinder, I checked the 250kx and it was not the same...I remember that jug ran over $400 dollars at the time. Good Luck...Like RxRapter said try to find a salvage yard.

 

hey, i have bought new windings for mine from cycle pros for around $100 or you could just go to your local dealer for a new one some places say they cant get them and others do.if you have more trouble give me a shout and ill try to help.

 

Maybe ricky stator can rewind yours? I sold 5 of them 84 tecate stators on ebay abotu 2 years ago. I would actually take it apart and clean up some of the connections get corroded..
