I heard there is a kit where you can turn a tecate 3 wheeler into a 4 wheeler. my dad's friend wants to perform this mod. oh yea how much $$ ? later

Yes but don't do it. Tecates are hard enough to come buy, with out another one getting slaughtered and turned into a quad. Sell it and buy a quad. T

Two issues here, first:

Those conversion kits are junk.

second:

There are some serious moral issues involved when hacking up a vintage threewheeler...

well he'll probably just buy a quad frame and put that motor in it.

Is there something physically wrong with him that he can't ride a trike? If not then he should forget hacking up a good trike and consider buying something a little less dangerous like maybe a golf cart or something. Seriously though I have heard nothing but bad things about those four wheel conversion kits.
