Wayne at PEP and Todd at TCS both said that the travel is the same, just a longer body. I tend to believe these guys. I just went over this with them trying to decide between long or standard travel setups.

Todd at TCS also told me the same thing. There really is no advantage to a 19in. shock.

yeah i thought the only reason you have to run a longer shock is cause of the longer a-arms...

yeah, wayne at pep told me the same thing, no difference in travel. i think the only advantage would be the larger shock would run a little cooler. i went with the standard shock myself.

You will loose a little bit of travel if you have a rebound adjuster on the shocks.

The benefit of long travel is there is more room for the guts. Better dampening=better handeling. You gain less then an inch travel but its not the amount of travel but how you use it.
