Why did you buy that frame over just having Donnie gusset the chit out of a stocker??

If I'm not mistaken, if you wad that frame up you have to send it back to LRD don't you??? It's non-repair-able right? Good luck bro and be careful.

I bought the frame because my very first quad got mangled up from a friend of mine wrecking it. The original intention was to swap stuff over to the new frame. That's why I bought the frame to begin with. Then it so happened I realize how much I could make parting out the z400, so I did that and bought another one z400 (with the LRD frame still on order). So thats where I am at today.....

Because the frame is aluminum, it would have to be completely stripped down for repair. I could send it back to LRD, but don is an expert aluminum welder, so he can do the repair himself but still will be very costly to do. Biggest thing is the fact it has to be treat heated....
