Last night me and the wife took our two son's to Mid America Raceway in wentzville Mo. in the ATV class the field was small but competitive. there were 2 kfx 400's moderatly modded, 1 240 blaster, 2 yfz 450's one of witch was highly modded and geared low, 1 lt250r not sure on the mods but it had one helluva drag pipe, and 1 V-force 700.......Its a good thing people don't base purchases on results because yamaha wouldn't sell nadda. but all in all it was cool to watch, and their will most likely be a green 540 2-stroke in the staging lanes next weekend......oh yea in case you were wondering the lt250 went home with the trophey

When do they race and what are the requirements? I always wear a helmet and leather coat, but are there other requirements such as leather pants, gloves, or chain guards? I would be very interested in going up there to race. I'm sure that some of my friends would also be interested. We run the 1/8th mile at Benton MO but I'd also like to go other places to race. It isn't always easy for me to get off work, but let me know when they race and I'll try to make it up.

hey daren, it is in wentzville Mo. off of highway I-70 and wentzville parkway. helmet, leather jacket, over flow bottle, and no leaks. you can look it up its Mid America Raceway. its near st. louis. this comming up weekend is the last saturday night race then it switches to sunday afternoon.......I am going to start getting involved in this now that I have got to see it for once.

 

oh yea and this is a pavement track, there are many differant classes including alcohol dragsters pro-street ect,ect,ect, so the hooking up factor is no problem

these are 1/8th mile, trophey, I think its $15.00 this saturday test and tune starts around 2:00 pm time trials at 4:00pm and eliminations start at 6:00pm after this saturday it goes to sunday morning/afternoon.......if I can make it I hope to see ya'll there

 

i dunno what mine can do in a 1/8 mile but i can do 5.2 in 100yard

 

Yea I'm curious what mine will do in the 1/8 th.
