Unless you just want the stickers don't sign up with Monster power drink. Signed up with them last year, got their stickers, and ordered 3 cases of their stuff.. Took them OVER 4 monthes to have it delivered. AND you HAVE to order at least 2 cases each time... and the discount wasn't that much... stuff was almost as cheap at the local Costco....
SIDI boots, Magura, Yoshi, ect were all great to deal with though...
This was all though sponsorhouse....It's a good site to get noticed and pick up sponsors if all you want is free stickers, a shirt here and there... but if you're looking for free ATV parts... that only comes with time and podiums. The ITP series at Glen Hellen rw gives out rim/tires if you podium... that was pretty cool....

First thing you need to do is write down all of the racing events you're already raced in and the place you came in. Each company will want to know this info upfront. It also helps alot if you win races / series.
Some of the bigger names out there want a history along with what races you're planning on making. They want to make sure that their product it going to be seen. The bigger the stage the better chance you have. Also, I've found that some companies want you to have a website with your info/bio/etc....
We race TT/flat track but I have heard from other racers that the sponsors like people in the MX/GNCC circut more. More prizes given out at that level.
So far I've gotten pretty good discounts on items direct from the companies but nothing major for free. Last year we got sponsored by a local motor builder that owns his own shop so we get great prices. This year we're trying to get picked up by a local company out here. You may have heard of them, Fox. We'll see though since this is only our 3rd season so far. Check out my page for info.
As I mentioned on another thread, for CA racers the CMA Bounty Hunter series is beginning May 1st. Check out their website for a schedule of races through Oct 06. ATV's are flat track only and dirt bikes is flat track and MX. If we can get more ATV's interested, CMA said they would hold MX ATV races. Check out cmaracing.com
Good luck to you with getting sponsored.
