i still dont see how you can get 15hp out of a cam, no airbox, higher rev limit, and dif spark arrester.....

 

hell i got a gag dyno on for my raptor that says its making 120 HP but its not true....

fact of the matter is. if honda can show u that they are making 50 HP out of this kit then they are going to sell more.. besides if it was such a good deal then why do people buy other stuff and not the hrc kit? 50 HP that doent mean a damn thing i went to little sahara and had to argue with a guy who said he has 90 hp banshee and my raptor was beating his ***..

Dynos are a tuneing device not a show of how much power u got besides 50 ft. pounds of toque is alot more fun than 50 hp.. trust me [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

A Dyno is just a tuning tool....Mr450rCooper If i showed you my dyno results...Well you would not like it..LOL Besides it just numbers a duno does not win a dragrace I do....

 

yea but the point is that you guys said there is no way a 450r with a hrc kit can put down 50 horsepower and i showed you guys 5 or 6 dynos of diff quads that it did. so why are you guys saying it doesnt matter. i proved you guys wrong that matters right. and the dynos werent from honda they were from people putting on the kit . so hondas not trying to sell more people are just showing that they CAN get 50 horsepower outta the hrc kit.

i would go with the 450r,it doesnt really matter about how fast it goes it depends on how it handles, in my opion yam is at the bottom of the list.

I'm going to be getting a new quad but can't decide whether to get a TRX450R or a YFZ450, can any one give some info on these 2. It will really help make my decision easier.

 

i have rode both and u cannot go wrong either way, sure i could try to sway u over to a yamaha but the my opinion become bias.. so im just saying i have rode both quads and they are both really fast, and both are easy to work on...

Honda and Zuki's been there. Yam hasn't had a podium yet this year (GNC's). Hell their lucky to finish a race lately.

When the dyno guy was at the GNC's a cpl years ago, we noticed that you could change a sprocket and change the HP reading. I agree on the dyno being a tuning tool.

I'm going to the Steel City GNC, I'll ask around what HP different ppl have.

 

The motor builders that I talked to says 60hp.

I rode a stock one in texas. It was fast too but the modded one sure got there faster.
