i dont know if thats a good idea.....
to win, if you could get ahead of the other racers at all, youd need to ride dirty to keep them from passing you, like driving in front of them, if you win, use the money to make it better, but dont do any major investing untill youve found out if you got what it takes

I don't see any mention of a pipe in your signature. I run a White Bros. E-series Pro-Meg on my '95. A decent pipe will really complement your piston & air filter. Don't forget to re-jet though. Also, most racing groups require at least a tether swich if not a tether switch and nerf bars. Pro-Design makes a good tether switch and AC Racing has nerfs.

Go for it!!! I would get a tether kill switch and Nerf Bars though. And when you get some money, get a WB E-Series. I win plenty of FX races with my Warrior. But, I have so much work done to mine, a 400ex has to be modified to keep up. In small MX and FX races, it is all rider so just practice, practice, practice. I was 1st last year in my local FX race series so it can be done on a warrior. I raced mainly 400ex's but alot of Warriors, Blasters, and a few 300ex and Mojaves too. Next step for you should be suspension. I did it the opposite way you should go. I did my engine first but it doesnt atter how fast your motor will go if your suspension will not help it out. Just some tips on mods for you. I wish when I did my mods, I knew then what I know now.

Change the air filter to pro flo so you don't cut your racing career short. and replace the handle bars. the stockers are the worst. they promote sitting. if your gonna win you'll need to be off that seat. if you know your machine well. and you can get it to handle to YOUR likings...you have as much chance as the next guy..

I agree. I would definately go with wider aarms +2+1s and some good aftermarket suspension. Especially front, and if you can afford it a rear. I know that WORKS makes good suspension for a Warrior. I have WORKS Triple Rate Fronts, and a Custom AXIS Pro-Series rear shock. If you get the triple rate fronts, and an Ultra Cross Rear, you will not believe the difference in all around performance, you will able to make full use of that motor work. I would also reccomend a White Brothers E-Series Pro Meg silencer.
