i'm looking to get the jump on the new suzuki lt400z. i want to talk with some engine builders who have experience with the drz400 dirt bike motor. anyone know of any? also i would like to contact (i think his name is tom carlson, who built doug gust's thumper this year. anyone know how to get in touch with him. thanks airtime

 

i know that thumper racing out of texas has been building DRZ's. for the website search on yahoo. they have two big-bore kits 439cc & 470cc and likely they will have them for the quad... as well as other stuff(porting, cams, vortech airbixes, etc.) they have stuff for the 400ex & others, if that's any indication. prices are on the website for some stuff too.

 

I think Sparks is going to be making some stuff for it. I know their Honda engine parts are exellent. I would go w/ them if I were you
