ok ...for one thing preds and shee's are in 2 different classes for drag racing!!! so it really doesn't matter ...i have smoked a lot and been smoked by some....2 different kinds of power!!! i used to own a shee before my pred and wouldn't trade back for the world!!! but on shee it will take more than a pipe jet kit and filters to beat a pred with some mods....JMO [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

1st he brings back an old thread, then gives false info. the predator actually was the one with the faster top speed. also the raptor caught back up because of the crappy tld gearing

 

the gearing cant be all that crappy if the raptor didnt catch up untill it hit 5th gear,and they never said the raptor passed the predator in 5th they only said it caught up,so what makes it so crappy?

 

well if it is quicker out of the hole and has a higher top speed, then why is the raptor able to gain back some ground???? that crappy gap between 4th and 5th thats why!

 

who cares,the predator was still in front and won the race..WHAT MORE CAN YA WANT IN A MACHINE?

 

the standards gearing[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] if u want those shocks and tires so much buy the standard and get the rezzys for the shocks and the tires when ur stock ones wear out

 

truthfully i dont know which one is faster at a drag race but i am sure you will do more than that. you can't really look at a bike just for speed. I would go with the four stroke predator b/cause you will probably start riding trails and you can't just lugg around on a 2 stroke you have to keep your rpms up. i am not saying 2 strokes are bad just not as good for woods or hillclimbs and jou have to rebuild them a lot....

 

hey razor 13 does ur 465 ex run on a stock carb or alchohol carb. do u also know if the 465 kit kit can run on a stock carb?

When you compare the Raptor and the Pred its always going to come down to the rider. They are so close off the line mid-range and top end, but i did read something about crapy gearing between 4th and 5th gear on the preddy. They said it felt like it was shifting into a huge overdrive, and that the revs really droped.
