Awesome Hatfield McCoy Trails Video
#1
Went to the Hatfield McCoy Trails in West Virginia. Shot some video and I put it together into an awesome video. We had a lot of fun. If you have the chance you should go. Thanks for watching.

Glad you liked the video. I listen to a lot of different genres of music. I heard the song right before I made the video and decided to put it in. I'm open to song suggestions for the next one. Any ideas?

Honestly, I'm not big into putting music to videos if the writer/composer hasn't given permission. I have lots of friends who are musicians. When people copy their songs without permission or when they haven't bought them it's piracy. It's how some of them pay for food, shelter, and clothing. Just my own .02 worth.

I did purchase the song but I do understand what you mean about permission of use. I used the song as inspiration for the video and give all credit to the artist who composed it. Although I believe this type of video would be somewhat boring with no music, and will continue making videos with songs, in the future I will try to make a video or two without a song. I'll just take it on as a challenge.

Great work with the footage. This year was our first year to use a Go Pro HD Cam. We got 60gb of HD video. The music thing get pretty sticky with yourtube and other copyright issues. Moose is correct about that. Youtube usually will eventually find the music and remove it from a video, or flag your video to protect them. I know for about $30 you can buy Royalty Free music for like $30 for several songs. Then you can use any of them for all your stuff. They use them a lot in podcast. Royalty Free Artists agree to sell their music under that type of platform. Usually not your mainstream music but a lot of it is pretty good. You can also edit your existing video with free music provided by youtube. Then they will put small ads on your video. Keep up the good work and let all keep awesome ATV content coming.
On another note I goto Hatfield every year and if you havent been it is a must. I can hook you up with trip ideas if you ever need any. I think we have rode 4 of 5 of the trails.
