I like your idea of trails Beer Gut, the other guys so called trails have power pole lines beside them which means a 5 ton Hydro electric service truck also uses it.
Now that's challenging.LOL

Exactly, that's how it is where I mostly ride. Sometimes the trail merges onto the power lines/pipelines then merges into trails that are super tight & take you further out to the middle of nowhere. All depends on the type of riding I want to do that day as I'm sure many of you make the same decision before you go riding.

The trail in this video has many trails that branch off of it which are narrower, sandy, muddy, etc. Not every trail or area I ride is the same, I like switching it up and I'm sure most of you do too. Subscribers to my YouTube channel no that though & the people that watch all my videos too. Hint hint haha

my definition of a trail is "anything that's not a road"

here's how the average trail looks around here from our rides... although, the 1000 rotax gets me up to speed quite fast on the short straights between washouts and is magical for catching some good air over berms and ruts

Exactly, I ride stuff like all of your pictures. Like you said some areas you can fly down & some your crawling & I guarantee it's like that for most of the guys on here. They can go ride a trail that they can open up the Quad on or they can ride a trail that's muddy & bogging & crawling through.

I dont ever post videos of mud bogging because my style of riding is speed, drifting, jumps etc. the guys with race/trail quads know. Don't get me wrong Occasionally I go mudding in some crazy stuff with my gfs dads 4x4 utility & sometimes I gotta use his winch to get me out but I just never post that stuff because this is the type of videos I like making. I also go through some pretty decent mud on my raptor but it's only a 2wd
so I usually pin it if it's deep. I love the look the guys on the utilities give me when they don't think I'll make it but then I fly by at Mach speeds through it lol.

Either way to each their own, I'm having fun no matter where I ride. Trails "roads" as long as I'm riding I'm Happy!

Haters are gonna hate

That's why I don't think speed is a major factor in ATVs since most fun trails are just rough and do not allow for much more then 30mph.
Unlike Snowmobiles where you have flat frozen lakes and smooth groomed trails where you can hit 90 mph safely in many sections.

To each their own man, & that's why you don't get paid to "think". Everyone has fun & enjoys riding in their own way & I have nothing against how anyone else chooses to ride. We are all in it for the same reason & that's to have fun, don't force your opinion on others claiming that's the way to ride or should ride to have fun.

Now you know the type of riding I do so you won't have to watch another one of my videos. No one is forcing you to watch it.

I also ride on flat frozen lakes & hit top speeds safely. You live in northern Ontario, you of all people should know that's achievable with the numerous amounts of lakes around here.

lakes scare the crap out of me

every time I'm on one- I always find the spot that was drilled for fishing!
I can get up to about 40 mph on a lake before I start to crab sideways- and it usually ends in a few spin outs.

here's a pic of me yanking my 09 renegade 800 out of a "frozen" lake

it took 2 atv's with warn winches to pull it out.

Had the same kind of thing happen to me. Broke through 3" ice and there was a foot of water under that and above a few feet of ice. Took two 4wd quads to pull me out.
