I agree 100 percent on the winch. My wolv has one and it sure makes me feel safe. My kodiak doesnt, and even though it is superior in the mud at the moment cause the wolvs engine is worn, I wont take it into stuff i will the wolv, unless someone else is behind me with a winch. It is really a life saver when you are alone. As soon as i get the wolvs moter built and save up the money, the kodiak will have a winch. IRS I dont have much experience with. Im sure it must ride smoother. In off camber situations I can see the advantage. So, if mountains are the norm for your riding, IRS would be important. Here in Alabama, its not a big consideration.

Well, I dont want to spend a ton of cash, so was thinking of used? I would also like the look of something sporty not to sure on the looks of the wolverine and kodiak. I like the looks of the 250r, ex, banshee, raptor those guys. Something about that looks says fast to me lol. Anyways, I will be riding oregon dunes, and up in the mountains as well. Around lakes and so forth just about anywhere I can go.

MEdford right? well if your looking for some dune rideing jsut north of Coos bay is good but then if you buy a snowmobile theres a park in ashland. About the quad z400s are cool or banshees. It all depends where you ride. I dunno its up to you

I Would say to not get a banshee thats a little much for a first timer i have a Wolverine and i love it its not all sporty and its not all utility but like everyone else said i think it depends on what style of riding you want to do but i say stick with a 4 stroke there great and they dont brake every second practicly never needing work engine wise 9if your looking for just riding trails and things like that get something 350 to 500 4 stroke if its your first time

Ok. Well, what about the scrambler 500 4x4? Sportiest 4x4 i know of. plenty of power. No IRS though.
