AT stands for Automatic... Fully AUTO or ESP you can change between the two with the flip of the switch... Same with the Rincon and Rubicon (I think)...

I'd go with the Outlander Max 400. The 400 is very lively, it'll compare evenly to most 500's, and by comparison is much lighter due to it's frame. It has IRS, and selectable 2x4 or 4x4, and a Visc-loc front differential, which is also one of the best in the industry. It's and automatic, simialar to the polaris's you rode. And here is the big thing, you're wife can ride with you comfortably, and legally (it's actually illegal to ride two on one machine that isn't designed for it). You'll actually be able to go over and up even crazier terrain becase her weight will be in front of the rear axle, unlike the warrior you rode. And when she's not with you, you can take the rear seat off.

...I did some research for almost two years before I made my mind up which to buy...................make SURE you at least test drive the Suzuki Vinson 500cc model.......very nice unit....
