Looking for information!
I'm wanting to get into jumping.. Nothing major but I'll need an ATV that can get the job done. I'm 200 lbs and 6'3 and have $2500.00 to spend so it will have to be used. I was thinking something like a 300 or 400 EX, Blaster or a Lakota. What other suggestions do you guys and girls have? I want something that is pretty quick and stable and that can also get a little bit of air time.
I'll also be doing a good bit of trail riding, the trails aren't very muddy.
I've ridden Warriors but I didn't like the jumping performance and Banshees are too costly.
Also what is the deal on ATV insurance? Where can you get it, how much and what does it do?
Thanks in advance........................

i would try to find a 400 ex for that price, used ones can go for that price.
When i got my insurance, i called around, and if you have a good drivers license record, then you should be able to get it for pretty cheap, all i have to pay is $83 a year, and that covers my 03 z400, and triton aluminum side loading trailor for theft and liabilty. I went through prudential, and that was the best deal that i found.

400 ex would be the way to go compared to the other quads listed.
Insurance, I don't think its worth it for that amount of money. Its a gamble so I would go to your home depot and purchase a big master lock and one of those new type cables that you can hardly cut ( forget the name and I am lazy right now don't want to go out to the building to look at the name) for under 50 dollars.

Thanks for the info..
I think I heard about someone getting an engine replaced through insurance, is that true?
Is there an insurance that covers damage during an accident?
Also what do you guys think of a 1985 QuadSport 230? How much do you think one of those is worth if it is in good shape, runs fine and looks good?
