Any advice on which quad to get?
Yes, I have the same thoughts: the AT sounds best but the darn need for speed and racing thing really gets me. I REALLY liked the power and speed of the Polaris, it's just the maintenace issue and I don't know if I'd like how it rides...I really liked my Rancher. It was very sturdy, not tippy at all and would do whatever I wanted to barring winning any drag races. It would be nice to be able to actually be in a drag and not eat all that dirt. Guess I'm just going to have to do some soul searching!

I agree with TrailblazerGuy.
For your size, the 300ex looks good on paper (proportionate).
But with your experience, the 300 will not have enough power for you.
I think the 400 ex or z400 would be a good way to go (however I would not normally recommend a 400 to a 108lb person), but you shouldnt have any trouble.
They will all be a breeze to operate considering you normally throw big ute's around.

You would probrably like a Scrambler as well.
As far as the maintenance on the scrammy, it is a little different(engineered differently), but no big deal. Julie, Myself and every one of my friends has put a lickin on our '02 Scrammy,,,and it is very tough. Its been flipped numerous times,,,with minimal damage. (when I thought it was going to be totaled). I have been riding the scrammy as my raptor is needing repairs.

hey if your into going mudding, racing, and all around performance i would suggest a wolverine 350. Its got all time 4x4 a six speed i believe, and the worrior 350, a very easy to mod bike, its also got reverse and its not to heavy. Although i hear that in 2005 they are coming out with the 400 or 450 wolverine i dunno witch it is. I was considering one but i went with the z400. But all this is coming from a guy with a winch on his z400.
