Bought a new Grizz in Dec and Yamaha is offering "FREE" Training and will pay me $100 if I buy a Yamaha Force Helmet. Anyone heard about this?? and if so, what is a Yamaha Force helmet as i have looked on the web and can't find it.

Any thing that is not a novelty helmet would be ok, but good luck I have been on the list for eight months and a buddy has been on the list two years here to go to the class to get paid the $100 bucks

Just got my P700 in Dec and am scheduled to go for training in Feb. Never heard of a specific saftey equipment requirement though. As long as you have a DOT approved helmet, goggles, over the ankle boots, long sleeve shirt, long pants, and gloves that should be it. Make sure your dealer isn't just trying to get more of your money.

Speedy222. Not taking the safety course is a bad decision. I also live in Michigan, and have several friends and newphews that are your age that have taken the course. You don't have to be 16 to ride in Michigan, just have your safety certificate and be riding with an adult. You would be able to go to Silver Lake and not have to worry about anyone taking your quad or giving you a ticket. You can go to
http://www.atvoffroad.net and check out safety Bill. He would be glad to answer any questions you may have and make arrangements for you to take the class.
Good luck and always wear your brain bucket!
