When I was pricing Recons back in 2001. One dealership was trying to sell me a tan Recon and stated that it was their most popular color. I bought a green one from another dealer.

rickytz7111- Good luck with your new purchase. Buy a skid for the bottom and you'll be able to most anywhere. (If it doesn't already have a skid.)

You could put a bike speedo on it for the low price of $20.00 (at most any store) with 8 functions. Just like the one in my one picture. (It's a little hard to see. Pic 5 on left side.) I actually got mine for $8.00 when a local business went under. It worked great but no back light.

Thanks for all the Info again guys. It's red in color. I have checked the oils and air filter. The oil has just been changed and the air filter look really good.

ricky, congrats on a great buy on a great little quad. I put my son on one at age 9 after he outgrew his LT80, he was almost hitting his knees on the handle bars !! The Recon is a peppy, light, fun to run quad, great mud and splash protection, easy to wheelie over logs and rocks on the trail, and a decent little jumper. Keep the oil changed and the air filter clean, and it will run for years with no problems.
