How to find a good dealer...
#1
I'm in the process of buying my first ATV and would like some suggestions on how to find a good dealer. What does one look for? What questions should be asked?, etc....
I live in Southwest Missouri and am going to buy a Yamaha Grizzly 660. Any feedback about dealers in my area would be appreciated.
Thanks

I guess you can't get too picky...but look for one who will give you good, friendly service--locally so you could get some repairs if needed. I don't think I should waste my time with a dealer who won't bargain at all but if so, get them to throw in a few extras in if the price will not go down. And uh....I don't know what else

I would look for a dealer that takes time with you, also don't overlook the shop. If you do have a problem the salesman is not the only person that will be involved. Is dealership orderly. Doesn't have to be spotless (that could mean they don't have anything going on) but it should look like work could be done in an organized and clean enviroment. Should be friendly and willing to answer questions or find answers for you.

I like a dealer that doesn't try to push you in one direction, one who knows what they are talking about.Just because they are willing to deal doesn't mean that after you buy the quad you will get good treatment.I just bought a Raptor from Renos Yamaha in KC.The guys were great they weren't pushy and gave me a sweet deal.
