The only problem that I see with getting the Boss is that it does lack low range. However, you can regear it to give it more bottom end. But, the Boss is more of a trail machine than a work machine. It would probably get the job done though. Put some chains on the tires and you should be able to plow a moderate amount of snow. But, to be honest, I would look for a used Magnum 4x4 or Sportsman. They have the low range which would be better for towing and have 4wd which makes plowing easier. Plus, you never know when you may need the 4wd in other circumstances.
