Fitting ATV in Grand Caravan
#21
#22
I have seen an atv hauled in the back of a mini van.
One of the members of our club LVATVA hauls her Yamaha Warrior(?) in an Astro (Don't remember if it is chevy or GMC) The van has the split rear door at the bottom.
I have helped her load and unload it. She stated her son could just ride it in. Not something I would care to try.
Of coarse it was not a 4x4.
So as you can see it can be done. In fact I am considering hauling my King quad in the back of my van.
Of course mine is an 92 Ford E350 12 passenger so I have more room once I remove the extra seats.
Yes I have a trailer (10 x 6 with loading ramp) but not sure I want to tow it since it will only be me and I have all the extra room in the van.
The other choice is to remove the cap from my 1986 F150 and haul it there. It won't fit through the door of the cap.
I picked up a set of 6' x 14" ramps on Ebay for 69.99 plus s/h so will be able to load it in either of them.
