TMT, what reconranger said the industry needs, I think you need, the Wolverine. It is not quite a 2wd sport quad, but you can make it into one. Of course stock it is full time 4x4, all you need is the warn 424 select and you are able to find that on ebay as low as $200. I do all my riding in northern Minnesota so I encounter snow, mud, water crossings, and lots of hills AKA old mine pits with new trails. Also I am 6'2" 230 lbs and the machine fits me great. Another thing you would like is the fact that it does around 60 stock and it is NOT an automatic. It is an extremely fun machine to drive and I love mine. If you are all about beefing up your wheeler the wolverine has an unlimited amount of mods for it, just ask some of the other people in the yamaha forum. If this does help and you look into getting a wolverine I would spend a little on a nice set of mudders and the 2wd kit.
