Default Which Quad is Right For Me

I would appreciate some input on what quad would be best for me. I've looked at a lot of quads, seen a lot of different sizes from ALL the different manufacturers. If anything I am more confused than when I started, maybe you folks can help me. I am a capable but novice rider, 200+ pound guy that wants to go out and play with my kids on their quads. Any suggestions or ideas?

Give some ideas about what kind of ridding you will be doing. Sport/Utility? Price range? What quads do your kids have? Anything else you might like to add.

TRX250R is a very good all around quad - just don't plan on hauling anything but your a$$...

Do you have any experience? If you can use a clutch, you should look at the 400EX or Z-400.

This question has been asked many times. People really need to give more info- where and how they'll be riding, experience, do they want new or used and how much they can spend. It really helps to narrow down a search.

I'm in the same situation as you. I have 1 kids on a Yamoto 150 and another on a Honda 50. I got the Honda 250EX. It hauls my 220lbs around way too fast for me, at 43 MPH. I figure, if everything works out, and somehow my wife gets the itch, I'll give her the 250 and get a "real mans" 400 for me. But, until then the 3 of us have great fun. I doubt you'llb e needing a utulity quad packed with 2 days of gear, or need to go more than 45mph. $3400 for the Honda is a good deal, IMO.
