Hi everyone! This will be my first ATV purchase and I want to make sure I get the best deal I can. I know I want either the '04 or '05 Scrambler (not a chance I'll change my mind!) but I don't want to seem overeager and pay too much. There is a tractor dealer near me that has an '04 for $5400 dollars, and some '05's for around $6100. I am really hoping to talk them into the '04 for $4800 to $5000 cash out the door price, but I don't know if this is feasible. So, does anyone have any input on whether or not I have a chance talking them down? Also, I'm not set on dealing with this store, if anyone knows any great dealers somewhere in the Ohio, PA, WV tri-state area, I wouldn't mind checking them out. Thanks in advance!

 

hey currentresident first off i would like to welcome you to the forums well hear is my opinion i say take the offer because you will be saving 1100 dollars and if the o4 is new and not used you still have a same quad than the 05 and you have $1100 to spend on mods

I did end up going with the '04, I picked it up Friday night and ended up paying $5,643 including tax and title, I am pretty thrilled with that price and with my Scrambler, we've had beautiful weather yesterday and today, and it is doing great in the snow and mud.
