How important are these in a new quad purchase?
I'd like other's thoughts on these issues before purchasing a new quad;
1)water cooling
2)dry sump (vs. wet sump) oil pump
3)Independent rear suspension
4)suspension travel
5)machine weight
6)manual vs. automatic transmission
7)transmission noise (whine)
8)disc brakes
I thought maybe a rating system of 0-10 (10 being max), might be the way to respond. 'Course, you might respond on your use of the quad; utility/farming or trail riding/sport.

thewayout420;
For me, I'm a slow rider, usually about 10 to 15 mph but most of my riding is in the Rockies, where the ride often is rocky and there is a long, extended ride to the top of some pass or mountain. I go faster when with a group, such as during the Rocky Mountain Jamboree rides. My Polaris is water cooled, single rear axle, rather heavy, with Polaris' only manual transmission. This quad is 5 years old, and I'm ready to get a new one. Some of the items I've listed may be a subjective issue, but not being able to test ride a new quad (except maybe a parking lot experience, which is nearly useless), I thought I'd try to use the knowledge of others in the selection. Thanks for the response.

expeditioneer the quad you need is
something that has ground clearance since you said you live in a rocky area
might i suggest a bigger polaris if you like the one you had before since you know how they feel and the newer ones are better like the 700efi or 800efi
