Honda v. Yamaha

I am looking at getting my own four wheeler, after riding my Dad's for several years. This is my first real SPORT quad, and I want to get something I'll be happy with. I like the banshee, but I don't like the idea of a lot of maintenance. Is it really that much work and money? I also like the 400EX because it is a lot newer design and it is easy to maintain. Is it woth the power trade off to get a better looking newer design with less maintenance. I would appreciate any advice. RYAN

The banshee is a great atv, I used to own one and I rode it in the woods alot. It is a pain to tighten the chain because there are I believe 4 bolts to loosen and then you move the axle back. If I were you I would get a really modified banshee because stock ones are boring and your always gonna want something faster. The Honda 400 is good for doing wheelies and going in the woods. Honda makes very good products and they last a long time just like Yamaha. If I were you I would look for a new used one or test drive a raptor or a DS depending on how much you want to spend.
