I need peoples opinions on which sports quad would best suit me. I plan on riding in Southern Cal deserts, trails and some dunes. I have ridden a warrior 350 and a yfz 450. I felt very comfortable on both of these quads but I only have a couple hours of riding under my butt. I am 6 foot and 280 pounds so I am not sure if a 400 cc quad is large enough for me. I do not plan on racing but I do want to have enough power and torque to grow into. I have been looking at the z400 but I am open to other opinions.

Thanks,
Work2play

its a good choice....has lots of power and speep but at the same time just doesnt kill you....any sport quad for that size well seem a little small but that engine should be plenty of power i would definetly consider the yamahas though....good luck

at your size get a raptor or predator. you will appreciate the added torque and size for comfort.

If you can handle a YFZ, then you can handle pretty much any current sport quad. At your size I too would be looking at the Z or something in the open class power wise. BTW, the 400s will have little problem hauling you around, but if you are planning some dune trips, well, you can never have enough power they say.
