Heyy guys,

I am new at buying quads, i have owned many dirt bikes and have ridden all kinds of quads but i am not sure on what i want to buy. i know how to use a clutch, i am 5 11, 190lbs, 16 years old, i am gonna be riding trails, mud and dirt, also creeks open fileds and what not, what do you guys think is a good quad for me? thanks so much, anthony

 

do you like sport or utility? and how much money you looking to spend?

 

i think i am lookin for a sport and up not sure, 3- 4 grand

 

Maybe something like a used 400EX???

 

used predator, 400ex, or ltz, kfx 400 would be your best bet. the predator will be the most expensive. all good choices that you wont get bored with.

 

I would shoot for a used 400 ex , or a 400z/kfx.

 

yeaa thatz what i am lookin at, my friend has a 02' rappy 660, with a pipe, he wants 3800, and my neighbor has a 03 400ex with a big gun pipe i think he wants 3200, which do u think is better and why?

 

I wouldn't buy the rappy, they had tranny probs, losing second gear. I would get the ex, IMO they are a more reliable machine. Rappys also spit their carb boots.
