Default Cheep ATV

Hey guys, I have a buddy that is very interested in buying an atv. There is only a couple of problems. One is that he is on a pretty fixed budget. The other problem is that he doesnt have that much land at all and he would only be riding it when he brings it to my house. So the quad doesnt have to be top of the line. I suggested to him to get one of the chineese 250 knock offs if he wanted a new one and if he wanted a used one a blaster. I have seen the knock offs on here before and they got pretty good ratings. He is pretty good at working on things.

Any suggestions would be nice.

THANKS!

I've never owned one, but have talked to a few people that have, all say those Korean or Chinese knock off are junk pretty much from the get go and once broken down, they seem to stay that way.

He would probubly be happier with the blaster as far as performance goes. A chinese 250 4 stroke is going to be slow compared to a blaster and not handle as well either.

How much is he wanting to spend? You can get some descent Blasters and 300ex's pretty cheap these days. My one buddy got a 96' 300ex for $1200 bucks, and all it needed was some new rear tires and wheel bearings. Runs as good as my friends 01' 300ex now.
