Default Need advice on a new quad....

my choices have been swinging everywhere from polaris to honda from sport quads to utility quads and i dont know what to get! i have a foreman 450 ES which is a great quad and all but i want more speed, comfort and terrianability. is there such a thing as a sport quad thats good in the snow/mud? or should i just go with a 4x4 again like the kodiak 450? im nervous of chain drives breaking and wearing out. plus id have to find out how to use a true manual tranny.another thing about the sport quads is lack of ground clearence. 4 inches is not enough.
lots of things to consider. maybe the wolv 450? sportish quad with a auto tranny, 4x4, shaft drive and precious GC.
i need some help!!

There is a new emerging class of "hybrid" 4wd's, and that sounds prefect for you! It is intended to combine the sporty ride of a sport quad, with selectable 4wd and somewhat higher ground clearance. So, check out the Yamaha Wolverine for starters. And, the Honda Rancher lineup is getting a complete makeover for 07, so I am hopeing it leans toward this class of machine as well (????). The new Hondas get announced in September.

I do have a lot of problems with the Wolverine, like its foo foo belt driven automatic transmission and it is on the heavy side, but it is technilogically at least a step in the right direction............

i like their auto tranny, and at least it weighs less then the kodiak 450, but i still have some time to choose. no fuel gauge is a bummer.
