Im thinking bout getting a trailblazer 250 and i would like to know the difference between a 2 and 4 stroke engine. and the pros and cons of a 2-stroke.

Some say 2 stoke engines are higher maintenance. If your handy with a wrench and do regular keep up work on a 2 stroke it will last you forever. 2 stroke engines are very simplistic and easy to work on. 2 strokes are smaller and do put out more power per c.c. One thing I personally do not like about then is that you are either stopped or haulin' tail. There is no putting around on one. 2 stroke's are known for there power band which once it kicks in you gone there is no easing into it. I would ride one before you purchase for sure.

2 strokes can be a pain because if you mess up your premix ratio you can lock the motor up.or in your case on a trailblzer if the oil injection messes up your screwed.
but 2 strokes have less internal parts than a 4 stroke so rebuilding them is alot cheaper too.with the exception of the banshee because you have to buy two of everything.
i would look into a 250r or a blaster before a trailblazer myself because i`m not a fan of the cvt trannies....i like to shift.

i love my 2 stroke scrammy, its ok at lower speeds for me like technical trails and even working but its hard on the belt for sure! the polaris oil injection keeps it very simple and reliable it uses hardly any oil, if your looking for a little 2 stroke the blasters are wicked fun and fairly reliable
