Man, I'll have to shop around. I've got a 06 Honda Recon and a 07 Suzuki z400 and I pay 90 for the honda and 240 for the z for full coverage, 250 deduct, 50/100/50 limits. I've got allstate. I checked geico and they were more expensive.

I am shopping for insurance for my ATVs and UTV. The agent said they were covered for theft, by my homeowners policy, as long as I stored them at home. Now I am considering storing them where I ride. Allstate quoted me coverage similar to an automobile. Don't think I will buy the collision and injury coverage. Hoping to find coverage just for theft, vandalism, or damage from fire or storm, etc.

What kind of coverage do you have?

You might want to check Bikeline (Markel Insurance), they give free quotes.

With Markel, I pay $250/year for full coverage on the quads and KLR650 combined (the Concours is not on the road at this time, thanks to a suicidal deer).

Progressive has some good rates on ATV insurance. So far they've treated me well.

I would caution with the coverage on your home policy. Generally speaking if it has a motor it needs seperate coverage. Sometimes an ATV might get coverage because it can be argued that it is used for maintenance on the property, but I wouldn't want a surcharge on my home policy because of an ATV claim. Also, if you are off property and get in an accident I dought it would be covered and you would not have liability coverage.
I have an 2003 Polaris 600 twin with 100/300/100 limits with $250Comp/$500 Coll deductible with an additional equipment endorsement that covers all the extras. windsheild, winch, bumpers, plow, etc. as well as UM/UIM coverage for $165 a year.
