Which quad Yamaha or Honda
I am looking to purchase a 2004-2005 Yamaha YFZ 450, 2001-02 Banshee, or 2004-2005 Honda 450 TRX. I just sold my 02 CR250 and am looking to get into quads. My wife currently has a 01 Warrior which is fun but not nearly enough power for me. What are the pros and cons of each? I am looking to use it mostly for woods riding and really want the realiability (if that is possible). I have had two-strokes forever and thought about going with the Banshee, but with kind of riding we do; I figured the 4-stroke might be the better option. Any help is very much appreciated.

I don't know what your "woods" are like, but where I ride that means you will rarely get into 3rd gear.
So for me, it's just forget the Shee completely. It likes to be ridden reved out, so you will be doing a lot of clutch work...gets old in a hurry!
The 450's all like to rev as well. Not as much as the Shee, but I leave mine home when I am doing a ride that is mostly tighter trails. With some gearing changes you could make one passable, but I see the 450's as all being better suited for fast more open trails and wide open country.
The best woods machines out there are the 400EX, Z400, and Raptor 700.
